    203128 - Kangaroo Kids 2020-2021

    A developmentally appropriate program for 3 & 4 year olds, Kangaroo Kids is held at our preschool facility located at 35 Bell Street. Our programl provides children a variety of opportunities for learning, social development and fun! Theme days, arts & crafts, music, social interaction and creative play provide preschoolers with a busy day of activities. Kangaroo Kids offers an ideal learning environment with 3 staff members and maximum class sizes of 18. Director is Early Childhood Educator, Christina Garrity.

    CHILD MUST BE 3 OR 4 BY JANUARY 1, 2021 for the 2020/21 program





    Kangaroo Kids preschool program is exempt from licensing by the State of Connecticut Office of Early Childhood.

    207027 - Seniors Staying Fit Fall

    Seniors Staying Fit
    (Adults 55 and up)
    A weight bearing exercise program designed for the active older adult that includes warm-up, low impact aerobics, muscular conditioning, core strengthening for the abdominal muscle and back, and focus on increasing flexibility, joint mobility, balance and coordination. Participants must bring a water bottle. Weights, exertubes, dynabands, 10” play balls and mats are optional.

    207030 - Low Impact Fitness - Fall

    Low-Impact Fitness Classes
    These classes are designed for people looking to stay active and improve balance, strength and vitality. Low-impact classes you’ll do all types of exercises but at a slower pace and in a way that is gentler on the joints. Modifications of exercises will be given to meet the needs of nearly everybody.


    Gentle Pilates
    Like our mixed-level Pilates classes, exercises focus on the core muscles which include the abs, back, glutes and shoulders. We work to create balance and strength in your truck and loose, limber limbs. Pilates strives to makes you strong and long while improving balance, coordination and posture. A great option for newcomers to Pilates or anyone who wants to move, but needs to tone it down a bit. Need to be able to get up and down off the floor. Bring a mat and a water.

    Designed to develop a strong core while maintaining loose, limber limbs, exercises provide multiple variations to meet the needs of different body types. Strengthens the body while keeping all the joints mobile and flexible. Mixed level class.

    9:30 Classes will be Virtual Class Live via ZOOM: Participants will be sent a link to register for the class. Once you fill out the form you will be sent the ZOOM Meeting Code/Link and password for the class. Logon to ZOOM at the day and time of your class to participate in a live class.

    8:30 Classes will be In Person Classes: Maximum number of participants have been lowered and designated areas will be setup for each person with a minimum of 6 feet between each designated workout area. Participants should wear a mask entering and exiting the building but do not have to wear a mask once in their workout area. Should COVID cases in the state spike classes will be offered virtually.

    207202 - Pilates - Fall

    Pilates Plus Strength
    Work your arms, legs, abs, back, and butt, using props that will help to strengthen, tighten and tone the entire body quickly and safely. Integrates the lengthening and stretching principles of traditional Pilates and adds strength training. Though exercises might feel more intense, every exercise can be modified for beginner and intermediate levels. Bring water and a yoga mat.

    207206 - Strength Training Fall

    Strength Training
    Total body strength training will give you a complete workout that will help sculpt, strengthen and reshape your body. We won't skip the core--you'll work the core and more. The class will include standing and floor work so you must be able to get up and down off the floor easily.

    Core Balance
    (Ages 18 & Up)
    This functionally fun class will promote core awareness by strengthening the core muscles. You will work on balancing while using a flexband and your own body weight. This class will help improve your range of motion, posture and balance, while increasing flexibility. Bring yoga mat and water to class.

    A fusion of Latin and International music/dance that creates a dynamic and effective fitness system! Aerobic and fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body and maximize caloric output and fat burning. Easy to follow dance steps and movements based on the principle that a workout should be fun and easy to do.
